This is Day 5 of the 7-Day challenge to help you be more visible on LinkedIn 🚀
You can find here Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 7.
Each day I will share one simple action step to improve your LinkedIn presence 🔎 And I will make sure it will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Let's go!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So now you have a crystal clear LinkedIn profile.
But you want somebody to look at it, right?
Before starting to post, do this first step:
👉 Find 5 influencers / top voices from your industry, follow and analyze them.
Notice who posts regularly and who doesn’t. Don’t look just for how many followers they have, keep an eye on their engagement too.
When looking at their content, observe:
1. Content Style and Format: Pay attention to the type of content they share. Do they post articles, videos, infographics, polls, selfies or just plain text updates? Observe the balance between professional insights and personal stories.
2. Frequency and Timing: Take note of how often they post and the times of day they are most active. Are there specific days when their posts receive more engagement?
3. Topics and Themes: Identify the main topics they cover. Are they industry-specific trends, general professional advice, personal experiences, or something else? Notice any recurring themes that resonate with their audience.
4. Engagement Techniques: Look at how they interact with their audience. Do they respond to comments and questions? How do they encourage discussions and user interaction in their posts?
5. Visuals and Design: Observe the quality and style of images, videos, and graphics they use. Are their visuals polished and professional, or more casual and authentic?
6. Tone and Voice: Notice the tone they use—whether it’s formal, friendly, motivational, or humorous. This can give you insights into what resonates with your industry’s audience.
Once you have gathered these observations, tomorrow you’ll start to engage with these influencers.
